Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Who is eligible to play?

Titans FC has teams for children aged 5-18 years and is categorized by age and abilities.  Titans welcome anyone who is interested in participating in a fun, modified soccer environment.

It is recommended that players be able to follow simple instructions and have basic social interaction skills to fit into the Titans community.

You don’t need to be a resident of the Sutherland Shire to sign up for the Titans.

Q. Who do the Titans play against?

The Sutherland Shire Football Association allocates a mainstream comp to play against the Titans as part of their season. This allows the Titans to integrate into the mainstream comp while receiving the level of support required for each individual player. The mainstream children understand the nature of the game and the concept of football for all.

The idea is that the Titans will participate in a competitive and fair game, so not for either team to win or lose by a large margin.

Q. What day do the Titans play?

All Titans games are played on a Saturday.  All junior and intermediate teams play each week at Titans home ground, Coachwood Oval, at the same time each week.
Seniors 1 team and Seniors 2 team alternate between home and away games each week.

Q. Where do the Titans play?

The Home of the Titans is at Coachwood Oval, Coachwood Crescent, Alfords Point, NSW 2234

Q. First Season with the Titans?

If this is the first time you or your child are joining our club we welcome you - here are a few things you need to know.

Titans club is built on the notion of Football for All and we take every step possible to ensure this happens on the field during game time within the parameters of Football Australia.

We rely on volunteers and each side will have a team manager and a few buddies.

Buddies and the coach are the only people allowed on the pitch and are registered with Football Australia.

The role of the Buddy will be to support and assist Titans players during the game. As each player has differing abilities, it would be helpful to indicate to your team coach whether your child will need assistance from a buddy.

Although we do our best to ensure each player is looked after during each game we do ask to refrain from entering the playing pitch.

It usually takes time for kids joining Titans to acclimatise to the busy nature of game days and unfamiliar people and surroundings, patience is key.

We thank you for understanding and look forward to providing a positive experience for you and our players.

Welcome to Titans!
If you have any concerns please feel free to contact any committee member or your team coach.
